• KCISD Public Information Requests

    In accordance with the Texas Public Information Act (Texas Government Code Section 552), the Karnes City Independent School District is committed to providing access to public information. Please review the details below before submitting a request.

    Steps to Submit a Public Information Request

    1. Complete the KCISD Public Information Request Form.
    2. Submit the completed form via email to pia@kcisd.net.
      No other communication methods will be accepted for Public Information Act requests.

    Important Notes

    • KCISD is under no obligation to create a document to fulfill your request or comply with standing requests for information.
    • Information will be released in compliance with the Texas Public Information Act, which may involve a confidentiality determination by the Texas Attorney General.
    • The district has 10 business days to request a determination if necessary.
